Stand Up, Speak

There’s no such thing as one-way liberation.

Glennon Doyle

That quote is one of my favourites. In whatever way you free yourself, you free others as a natural consequence.

In what ways are you being challenged to free yourself?

Perhaps you need to stand up for what you believe is right. Stand up, speak your truth.

Perhaps you need to have a difficult conversation that is founded upon deep vulnerability. Stand up, speak your truth.

Perhaps you need to leave a situation that is destroying you. Stand up, walk away.

Perhaps you need to change things in your life, so that you life aligns with the calling of your soul. Stand up, begin the change.

When you speak your truth, people will be given permission to speak their’s. They will be inspired by your courage to walk away from a difficult situation, and learn how to walk away from their own detrimental circumstances. They will be in admiration of your vulnerability, and will respond in turn with offerings of their own. They will know that it is OK to turn their lives inside out, re-aligning everything, so that they can live more authentically…because you did it first.

Whatever it is that you do, you will inspire others to do the same.

You are not being selfish if you do things that are right for you. On the contrary, you are serving the planet by being the most authentic version of yourself.
